1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work the same way. This policy covers both on the Colivioo website, operated by Bontal LLC.
2. Essential
These keep you signed in and keep the site secure. The site cannot work without them, so they do not need your consent.
| Name | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| accessToken | Keeps you signed in | Up to 1 hour |
| refreshToken | Renews your sign-in without a password | Up to 30 days |
| auth-storage | Remembers your signed-in profile in this browser | Until you sign out |
| colivioo_consent | Remembers your cookie choices | 12 months |
3. Preferences
These remember choices you make so you do not have to repeat them. They stay in your browser and are not used to track you.
| Name | Purpose |
|---|---|
| location-storage, colivioo-session-search-location | Your chosen area for search |
| colivioo-recent-listing-searches | Your recent searches |
| company-storage | The company account you last used |
| subscription-storage | Your plan, to show the right features quickly |
| Theme settings | Light or dark mode and colour contrast |
| colivioo_trust_banner_dismissed | That you closed the safety banner |
| colivioo_legal_notices_dismissed | Legal updates you have already seen |
| housingIntentPrompt | That you answered or skipped the what-are-you-looking-for question |
4. Analytics, which you can turn off
These help us understand how people use the site so we can fix problems and improve it. They are on unless you choose “Turn off analytics” in the cookie banner or in Cookie settings.
| Tool | Cookies | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics (Google LLC) | _ga, _ga_* | Counts visits and page views, and which pages people use | Up to 2 years |
| Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) | _clck, _clsk, CLID and related | Records clicks, scrolling and anonymised session replays so we can find confusing pages | Up to 1 year |
Cloudflare, which delivers our website, also counts page views with its Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not track you across sites, so it runs for everyone.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not let other companies place tracking cookies for advertising on our site.
5. Your choices
- Change your choice at any time: . Turning analytics off stops them straight away and deletes the analytics cookies they set on this site.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in.
6. Our apps
The iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android apps do not use cookies. They store your sign-in securely on your device, and use device identifiers for push notifications, app security checks and crash reports, as the Privacy Policy explains.
